Charity
They say that charity begins at home, well at St. David's we're "home" to over 60 stores and a "second home" to some of our loyal customers, so that's why we care so much about local charities and causes.
Every year, we adopt a different local charity. The chosen charity receives the donations kindly made by our customers for our festive Christmas display along with support and promotion at events throughout the year. This year, the charity Help a South Wales Child was our selected recipient and we have continued to be amazed by the good work and selfless dedication to the youth of South Wales the charity workers demonstrate. Spurred on by their constant enthusiasm, we promoted the charity over several events in the shopping centre, one of which being our Spring Fashion Show where we sold goody bags packed with gifts donated by the shopping centre and raised £2,279 in two days!
In addition to our adopted charity, we also try and help as many other local charities and organisations by allowing them to fundraise within the shopping centre and when possible, allowing them to raise awareness of their cause by utilising our promotional spaces within the shopping centre.
