Getting Here
Lying right in the heart of Cardiff city centre, St David's Shopping Centre is easy to reach by bus, train or car. The centre is just a short walk from Cardiff Bus and Coach Station and Cardiff Central Rail Station, which has regular services running from across the country straight into the city centre. It's convenient to reach by road too with excellent road links via the A470 and the M4.

Whether driving from West Wales, the valleys or from the east (Bristol, Reading, Swindon) the simplest route from the M4 motorway is as follows: - Leave the M4 at Junction 32 signposted Cardiff North. Join the A470 and follow the signs to Cardiff and city centre.
With 13 dedicated city centre car parks to choose from, you'll be able to park safely and conveniently in no time.

By Park and Ride
Park and Ride services run every weekend in Cardiff throughout the year. Park and Ride is simple to use - you park your car at a convenient location and get a bus into the city centre. The cost is just £3 per car which includes bus travel.

By Bus
Cardiff Bus and Coach Station is located immediately adjacent to Cardiff Central Rail Station. It is the terminus for excellent local bus services along with frequent and fast coach links to all parts of the UK, with special low fares to destinations such as Bristol and Swansea.

By Train
Cardiff Central Rail Station (approximately 10 minutes walk from St David's Shopping Centre) is served by First Great Western covering South Wales, South West England and destinations to London Paddington including Newport, Bristol, Swindon and Reading. Wales and West trains connect Cardiff with destinations in South Wales, South and West England and stations to Manchester and Liverpool, Nottingham and Birmingham. Cardiff's second rail station, Queen Street Station, is close to the eastern end of Queen Street and serves the Valley communities of South Wales. Queen Street is approximately 8 minutes walk from St David's Shopping Centre.

By Bike
Cycling can be one of the quickest and easiest ways to get around Cardiff. The city's easy gradients and large green parks make it ideal for exploring by bike. The historic Taff Trail cycle path runs North to South along the banks of the river Taff, linking Castell Coch, the city centre, Cardiff Castle, the National Museum of Wales and Cardiff Bay. Cardiff is also a key destination on the National Cycle Network.
